A public wake will be held for Hansard in the Baroque Chapel at IMMA, Royal Hospital Kilmainham, on Monday 3 August between 11am and 4pm. GH will lie in repose for those wishing to pay their respects.

The funeral will take place the following day at St Patrick's Cathedral in Dublin city centre at 1:30pm. While the funeral will also be open to the public, access inside the cathedral will be limited given the numbers expected.

The funeral will also be broadcast on the RTÉ News channel ( https://www.rte.ie/news/player/ )
