Grieving

I’m sure other people are feeling devastated and also feeling challenged by feeling of “I didn’t”t know him personally so I have no right to be this upset”. That’s not true. Through the music and the gigs Glen framed our lives, created an anchor and gave things a meaning. You don’t need permission to grieve for someone you loved but did not know. The impact Glen had on our lives was real, and the memories we all attach to his work have moulded our identity. So grieve how you want to. Thanks for all the memories Glen RIP x

It has seemed nuts that I could be grieving at this level for someone I don't actually know. I knew I loved and appreciated Glen, and the Frames, and the Board, but I didn't have cause to analyze those feelings and why that was. I guess that's what the grief is working out now, what we are all working out. Thanks for the post. All we can do now is try to go be Glen in the world, which is to say, be kind and respectful to every human we meet. What a life. Love to everyone on here.

Posted a lot on here years ago. I'm so sad about Glen. His music and Frames music and gigs made my life so much better and I felt like I knew him but I didn't really so yeah it seems weird to feel so bad about this.

Music is like timetravel, The Frames transport me through the last 21 years as quick as lightning. The Framily has always been a welcoming community, even though only a few people here probably know me, but your message melted my heart. Thank you
