GTA 5 PS5 Cheat Codes: U4GM Quick List
Cheats in GTA 5 on PS5, PS4, and PC are still a Story Mode thing, not some forgotten leftover from 2013. If you're messing around in Los Santos and keeping an eye on GTA 5 Money for the wider economy side of the game, it's worth separating that from actual cheat codes. The classic PlayStation button inputs still work on PS5 just like they did on PS4. You enter them while playing, not from the pause menu. Phone numbers are another option, and PC players can also use command words through the console.
How cheats work in Story Mode
Most players notice the same pattern pretty quickly. A cheat gives you a burst of chaos, but it also comes with limits. Trophies and achievements are disabled for that session, so saving first is still the smart move. The big favourites are all here: max health and armour, invincibility, all weapons, explosive ammo, flaming bullets, faster running, faster swimming, super jump, drunk mode, lower wanted level, raise wanted level, moon gravity, slippery cars, and weather changes. Invincibility only lasts five minutes, which sounds generous until you're halfway through a fight at Fort Zancudo and it suddenly wears off.
Vehicles, aircraft, and the fun stuff
The vehicle cheats are still the ones people use when they just want to play, not plan. You can spawn a Buzzard helicopter, a Mallard stunt plane, a Duster, a BMX, a Comet, a Rapid GT, a Sanchez, a PCJ-600, a limo, a Caddy, and a Trashmaster with the right inputs or phone numbers. The parachute code is almost mandatory if you're playing with Skyfall, because dropping from the clouds without one usually ends badly. A few vehicles are locked behind events first, such as the Dodo seaplane, Kraken submarine, and Duke O'Death, so don't assume the phone code is broken if you haven't done the required activity yet.
Money myths and GTA Online reality
There's still no official cheat that hands you infinite cash in Story Mode, and there's no working Rockstar-approved money cheat for GTA Online either. That's where a lot of bad advice online starts. In Story Mode, money usually comes from stock market plays, assassination missions, hidden briefcases, nuclear waste pickups, vehicle sales, or old glitches that may or may not survive a patch. In GTA Online, people often look for shortcuts or even search where to buy GTA 5 Money, but cheats themselves won't spawn cash, weapons, or cars there. External menus are risky too. They can expose accounts, personal data, and passwords, and they're not connected to official Rockstar systems.
Small warnings that save frustration
Mission use is the messy part. Some guides say certain cheats work during missions, while others treat cheats as sandbox-only tools. In practice, it's safer to expect restrictions once a mission is active. If a code won't trigger, step out of the mission and try again in free roam. Also, don't forget the simple tricks that aren't really cheats: swapping characters can refill health, respraying a car can help shake police, and finishing a mission often clears heat. Los Santos is still at its best when you bend the rules a bit, just not in GTA Online.
