Trip to Galway/DonegalI'm headed to Galway/Donegal in May. What are some cool, off the beaten path things to check out?

Actually, I wouldn't mind seeing touristy stuff too. Any ideas appreciated. Thanks.

allI can offer is that once you get there, you will have more than enough to do and see. Plus if you have a car the drive between the two alone will be great.

Don't leave Donegal withoutseeing GrianĂ¡n of Aileach, Mamore Gap, Malin Head and the Inishowen 100 beginning in Derry City and going towards Buncrana - not Moville - for the best views en-route.

Then head west along the WAW to see the Poisoned Glen and climb Errigal, drive out The Bloody Foreland and go to Tory Island to meet the King.

Derry City itself (which is actually on the Inishowen Peninsula but in Co. Derry) is otherwise known as The City of Song because it's the home of the Irish music scene these days. It is Donegal's City too so that's how close it is, practically IN
the same county.) If you're here for the May Bank Holiday weekend, the city's Jazz Festival will be on. It's also one of Ireland's top foodie spots.

That is all.
