Frames skull maskDoes anyone remember the skull masks, either Witnness or Oxegen (I think I remember seeing them first around 01) but my memory is blurring with age! Are they all long gone? I remember seeing loads of pulling running around with them and i had no idea where they came from, then die hards would have them at later gigs, although less and less

frames skull mask p2ya i rem them, glen used to pull one on himself. I rem it from witness i think. So long ago now and still following.

it was a 2001 thing...i think the first run of them were done as part of the album launch for For The Birds and were only available from the lovely folk at Road Records (RIP!). A second run was done for either Witnness or the Dublin Castle gig.

masksa bunch of people were tasked with smuggling bags and bags of the masks to hand out free for the frames gig at oxegen(the year they were on the main stage after queens of the stone age and before green day)..they werent allowed bring them in but tons of them got given out anyways..theres an amazing photo somewhere of the lads looking out at a sea of masked faces
