also, Decembrists
and Band of Horses.
There've only been a few bands that have stuck with me for what, 20 years. This lot here that own this place here, Nirvana, Neil Young, The Stone Roses...
Incidentally, I'll go down for murder if they don't play the Picnic.

holy fucking telepathy
I was going to say Band of Horses. And I really think I would have said Decemberists if that had been left as an open question. But here's one more: Death Cab for Cutie. Wildly popular with me and many on this board, and then nothing since then, in Buffy's words, to give a wet fart about.

general cunt reporting for duty
I've fully given up on all things frames. Haven't even heard the last 2 albums in fact. I haven't really been listening to new music the past few years as I've been back playing it myself with a band. I have been listening to Slow Motion Heroes "Hinterland" on loop for the past 3 weeks though. It's magic. The decemberists are a great band though. Totally went off my radar since the crane wife. Am I imagining things or were they on the Simpsons at one stage?? That means you made it big right?

damien rice, had it and he lost it (or my tolerance of needlessly whiney singers grew less & less). another big thing is there's so much amazing music released now i don't listen to albums much more than 3 or 4 times before moving on to something else amazing
